Privacy

What the documentation sites of Slabs collect, why, and for how long: this site, and every documentation site that links to this page from its footer. In short: no cookies, no third party, no tracking.

No cookies

These sites set no cookie. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

What your browser remembers

Two choices are kept by your browser, in its local storage, and never leave it: the colour scheme you picked, and the tab you last chose where a page offers alternatives. Clearing the data of a site in your browser forgets them.

No third party

Every typeface, script, image and stylesheet is served from the domain of the site. No Google Fonts, no audience measurement, no advertising, no embedded social component. The search runs in your browser: what you type is sent nowhere. Your browser talks to the site and to nobody else, until you follow a link to another one.

Audience measurement

None. These sites do not count their visits.

Hosting

These sites are hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub keeps the usual connection logs, the IP address of visitors among them, for the security of its service, under its own privacy statement. Slabs has no access to them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can ask for access to your data, its rectification or its erasure, or object to its processing. Given the above, there is in practice almost nothing to ask for, but the right remains. Write through the contact page.

If you consider that your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
